Lori Sargent, originally from Chicago, IL, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping others to her role as a valued member of the Steady Strides  team. With a diverse background spanning military service and academic achievement, Lori's journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) reflects her unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others.


After completing her undergraduate studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette in 2014, Lori embarked on a rewarding career in the US Army, serving her country  with honor and dedication for a decade. Her military service instilled in her the values of discipline, integrity, and service to others, qualities that continue to guide her professional endeavors today.


Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Lori discovered her calling in the field of ABA. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she found fulfillment  in helping clients and their families navigate the challenges of ASD, fostering growth, and promoting positive change.


Lori's passion for helping others led her to pursue a master's degree and earn her BCBA qualification at Capella University, where she  deepened her understanding of behavior science and its practical applications in improving the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.


Lori's unwavering dedication, compassionate nature, and diverse skill set make her an invaluable asset to the Steady Strides team, embodying the organization's  commitment to empowering individuals and families affected by ASD.


Outside of her professional pursuits, Lori finds joy in travel, spending quality time with her family, engaging in outdoor activities, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She shares her home with Herman, her beloved miniature Yorkie, and her beloved children. She takes pride in her status as a Veteran, having traveled to 47 states across the country.
